We're a locally owned St. Kitts tour company operating the island's only open-air trolley food tour — built to give visitors an authentic taste of Kittitian cuisine and culture, with a guaranteed return to your ship on time.
Our Story
Sugar City Express was founded to share the real St. Kitts — the one you taste, smell, and feel, not just the one you see from a tour bus window. We're a Kittitian-owned company, and our guides and food partners live in the communities you visit.
Our open-air trolley was purpose-built for the island: covered for sun and passing showers, open enough to catch the trade-wind breeze, and small enough to reach the local spots a big coach simply can't. Every tour pairs authentic food tastings with the stories and history that make St. Kitts unique.
We work closely with cruise ship schedules because we know how stressful “will we make it back?” can be. Our return-to-ship guarantee is the foundation of everything we do.

The Route

Tours depart from central Basseterre, minutes from the Port Zante cruise terminal. Pickup is coordinated with cruise ship schedules.
